Smoking is very popular in Morocco so they take ashtray design and manufacture quite seriously. These hand-made ceramic ashtrays are a beautiful deep blue colour with a traditional Moroccan design also applied by hand. The lid of the ashtray is designed to capture ash and also allows the ash to fall into the base where it is covered and will not make a mess. The lid is seperate from the base and sit snugly on top. Finished cigarette butts can put out in the ashtray and you can also put a small amount of water in the base so that those hard to extinguish embers and stumps are automatically put out. It measures 8 centimetres in height and has a circumference of 10 centimetres.
